Scott Blinkiewicz

Scott Blinkiewicz, CEO and Owner of BlackHorse Recycling, started his career in the recycling industry long ago - back to 2002. After finishing college at Ball State, he began working for a national recycling broker. His foundational start in the industry proved to be very useful as Scott gained a lot of valuable experience from colleagues, expanded his network within the industry, and also sought to learn much on his own accord. All of which quickly led him to figuring out that he would find a great deal of success in the pursuit of building his own company. Scott had always felt that working for someone else wasn't what he wanted to set out to do and could better expend his energy into growing a grassroots recycling firm from the ground up because after all, that's what recycling is all about! Making things new. In November 2010, BlackHorse Waste Trading was born and the rest, as they say, is history. Scott takes great pride in utilizing his over 20 years of knowledge in the recycling industry, along with his impeccable ability to form and grow relationships, to help deliver the absolute best possible solutions and services for all his customers.
